The festive programme in Combloux

*(2025 programme, repeated each year in its main lines; the 2026-27 programme will be added here as soon as the tourist office publishes it)*:

• Welcome drink with Father Christmas on the ski area, at the start of the holidays.
• Horse-drawn carriage rides with Father Christmas, 22 to 24 December, booking required.
• On 24 December, Father Christmas's gondola, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• On 23 and 30 December, open-air banquets near the tourist office, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.: food trucks, fire show, concerts.
• On 25 December and 1 January: an afternoon of entertainment, the children's torchlight descent at 6 p.m., a sound and light show at 6:30 p.m., then fireworks.
• Every Wednesday of the holidays, the ESF torchlight descent on the Garettes run, opened by children from the 2nd star level upwards.
• Storytelling, workshops, magic and an escape game at the tourist office throughout the two weeks.

In Megève,

the Christmas Village (Father Christmas, elves, workshops) fills the centre from 22 December to 2 January, the tree is lit in early December, and the open-air ice rink runs all winter.

Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve

Restaurants in Combloux and Megève offer festive menus on booking, which should be made early: the list will be updated in November. If you would rather stay in, the big table in Les cimes de l'alpage has its extensions and the kitchen has everything you need; for your shopping, there is the market on Wednesday 23 December and.

Booking

The Christmas and New Year weeks run from Saturday to Saturday, 7 nights minimum, and are the first weeks of the year to be booked. The price shown is the total price — cleaning, linen, made beds and tourist tax included. See the two apartments.
